Kulturgut Wrechen in the bathtub – a joyful wedding in early autumn
Self-made stamps replace the classic wedding rings. The bridal couple toasts with the guests from a bathtub filled with hot water. Instead of speeches and wedding games, a vaudeville show takes place in which the bridegroom takes part in the glittering finale. And in between … again and again free-range chickens. This is how you can imagine the wedding of a designer with a freelance clown and juggler at the Kultur-Gut Wrechen. It was a wonderfully unconventional celebration in early autumn when I was able to accompany these two with their guests in Mecklenburg at the end of September. But first we went into the enchanted forest around the wedding chapel Mellenau in the middle of the Boitzenburger Land. See for yourself – the ring is free!
